  • Chopper Pump

Vaughan’s vertical recirculator chopper pump provides preconditioning, mixing and pumping. The recirculation valve allows selection between recirculation and discharge of any 3- to 6-in. vertical wet well chopper pump, and nozzle orientation is adjustable horizontally and vertically. An optional electric valve actuator allows total automation of the system.

    Batch Reactors

SBRs remove dissolved and suspended organic materials (biological nutrient removal) and can be used as pretreatment prior to discharge to treatment plants or as final treatment before discharge to stream. These systems provide high-quality effluent at varying flows and loads and are designed with a small footprint.

    Grit Removal

Grit Monster is now available with JWC’s separation system and incorporates a vortex swirl concentrator and either an air-lift or specialized grit pump to remove fine particulate like sand, gravel and coffee grounds. The slurry is transferred to a rugged grit classifier for cleaning and dewatering. The system uses a low-speed agitator with adjustable paddles to ensure consistent grit removal across a wide variety of flows.
